Sherpa Property Group Donates $20,000 to the Daniel Morcombe Foundation

At Sherpa Property Group, community is at the heart of everything we do. That’s why we are incredibly happy to announce our donation of $20,000 to The Daniel Morcombe Foundation, which will go towards protecting the safety and well-being of children in our community. As a company that has always placed the wellbeing of the people we work with at the core of our operations, this contribution is a simple way for us to make a positive impact in the community.

While on his way to buy Christmas presents for his family at a local shopping centre, he went missing.

He was last seen wearing a red t-shirt, waiting for a bus at 10 minutes past 2pm on Sunday 7th December 2003. He was abducted and murdered; after years of searching and an incredible undercover police investigation Daniel was finally found in 2011.

Daniel’s parents, Bruce and Denise started the Daniel Morcombe Foundation to give back to the community who had supported them from the day that Daniel went missing. Today, the Daniel Morcombe Foundation is one of the most well known not-for-profit child safety organisations in Australia.

The Daniel Morcombe Foundation, founded by Daniel’s parents in 2005, has been a pillar of strength and education, working to prevent child abduction and ensure children have the knowledge and confidence to protect themselves. After the tragic loss of their son Daniel, the Morcombes have dedicated their lives to creating a safer world for children, and we are honoured to stand beside them in this mission. Our donation will directly contribute to the foundation’s programs, which provide essential education, workshops, and resources that empower children, parents, and educators. These initiatives not only raise awareness but equip children with the tools to recognise and respond to dangerous situations.

“As a company deeply rooted in the Gold Coast community, we believe it is essential to give back to the communities in which we operate, and we are honoured to contribute to such a vital cause,” said Daniel Clarke, General Manager of Sherpa Property Group.

Walk for Daniel Day

“The Daniel Morcombe Foundation has made a significant impact on child safety education and support for victims of crime, and we hope this donation will help further their reach and impact.”

This donation is part of our broader vision to create a positive, lasting impact on the communities we serve. Whether through partnerships with local organisations or by investing in critical causes like child safety, Sherpa Property Group is committed to making a meaningful difference where it matters most. We look forward to seeing the continued impact of the Daniel Morcombe Foundation and are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to their life-saving work. Together, we are building safer, stronger communities for our children, today and for the future!
